hey everyeone. my board was stolen out of my car a couple weeks ago and now it's on craigslist. car was unlocked (i know, i'm a sucker/mark etc as a result). it's being sold an hour from where i live.

other than a partial picture of me surfing it and taking my word for it that i put the orange paint and traction pad on it, there's no real proof it's mine as i bought it used. it's not worth it to me to get in any kind of danger to pick it up. i can seriously LOL at the $600 price tag. i bought it used for half that years ago and it's well worse for wear and yellow'd, so the seller won't be getting any takers, that i know.
10 years ago before wife and kids arrrived, being macho and trying to take it back would have been fine. now, i have bigger things to worry about.
any recourse? is it worth calling the police? i never filed a police report b/c i figured it was long gone and really not worth enough money to justify.
