My website is the culmination of my life's work. I shared it freely, even after my retirement 9 years ago, when it ceased to be a business tool and became a public service.
Yes, the hosting fees did start to be daunting, particularly since the donations I solicited these past couple of years, persistently fell way short of what was required for the annual maintenance.
Yes, I would have appreciated a hosting offer.
But to receive simply the notification today, that the entire content of my website had been copied and published, is a violation of my copy rights, as well as a nasty slap in my face.
For shame!
