Fixing a mistake during tint laminating

Hi everybody,
I juste made a board for a kid, a 5'4, he's 35kg. He was super hype on having a green mint tint and also he wanted a bit of "tech" on the board, carbon web tape on the deck ahah! 
So I've glassed the bottom and then I flip the deck up and lay the carbon web tape and glass it. That's the mistake... Doing that I sealed the blank around the tape area wich during the tint laminating is going to make an uneven color... So I can see two ways of fixing that, first one I can propose a clear deck to the kid wich could be fine as well. The second would be to seal all the deck with lam resin before tint laminate, I'm a bit confused on this one because I've never done that... I know that it's gonna be a clearer tint (wich is ok) but I wonder if the color is going to be even...
Did anyone allready done that? Any ideas? Informations?
