Aloha Sways,
Been a while since i have posted on here.
I shaped a mctavish style deep v midlegnth. It work great here for socal. But im going back to oahu in january and want to pull in the tail alot.
Wide point in the tail, pulled in nose, single to deep v to flat out the tail. scooped out the nose a little bit. The rails are like 75% done but i want to thin them amount a lot more for a little more progressive surfing style. Right now its just a wide squash tail and i want to recut out outline in the tail section and make it a pintail.
Theres still alot of foam from nose to tail than im gonna thin down to get the rails how i want them. Is it a smart idea to recut the outline and disrupt the flow and symmetry of the rails that i already have done. should i leave it alone and just shape another one? or is it possible.
