"The JAVA file "BoardCAD(2).jar" could not be launched"

Hello Everyone,

I really have a problem going on here and desperately need your help:

I have an issue with BoardCad. I think I am using BoardCad 2, the file name is "BoardCAD(2).jar" (is that version 2.0?).

And I exidently downloaded the new Mac update Sierra. Now BoardCAD doesnt open anymore and states following error message:

"The JAVA file "BoardCAD(2).jar" could not be launched. Check the Console for possible error messages."

Well, what do I do now?

I want to keep the same version as I have, I do not want to get the new version. All my files are in .brd and I want to continue working with the version I have.

Is it possible to download the same version (2.0) as mine? Where can I do that? Or even better, how can I fix my issue?

I really need help on this.
