Is this advisable? I have a low density blank with a ply stringer I made, is it possible to do just a timberflex style and do the deck only but with paulownia? I was thinking layup from top 4oz, wood (depending on thickness) glued, bottom 6x6.
What is the thinnest available veneer? And is it advisable to recess the veneer?
I'm copying a board that has been snapped and fixed, was going to just sand bag the deck wood after lamming the bottom and use the old board (with plastic sheet on top) to use as a rocker guide while the glue sets...,
Bad ideas?
