How smooth does the laminated board need sanding/grinding before the hot coat? I am trying to get it virtually perfectly smooth but think i may be going too far.
See attached pic. This is not yet sanded, i assume i should sand that or is it ok left like that, will the hot coat take care of that much bump?
Is it possible to do two hot coats if needed to help get it all smooth, if i have too many bumps to grind off the lam stage? i am burning and leaving dirty brown marks due to the amount of tacky resin i am trying to remove
