Hey livng a bit remote. I can just get 9:1 Epoxy resin. The lamination was easy. But now I got problems with gloss and hot coat. I always get fish eyes and small holes from gassing. Fixed it by doing Hot Coat and glass coat both nearly 3 times each. So first coat I did with a brush. second and third I poured a thin film over again with a spatula which filled then all the holes. Now I try to figure out why I got this problems.
first no didn't touched with bare hands. just rubbed it dry with paper and brush.(but also tried ethanol same result)
for the foam I am using XPS insulation plates. I have no further information about the epoxy just 9:1. Could it be that the 9:1 is more sticky and doesn't flow over the board. Foam stays in same room conditions round 25 degree. Can't explain the gassing and fish eyes. Any ideas?
